Lindon J. Robison

Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics

Dr. Lindon J. Robison is a Professor Emeritus of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Michigan State University, where he taught from 1977 to 2021. He earned a B.S. from Utah State University, an M.S. from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. His research focuses on social capital and how trust and relationships influence economic decisions. Dr. Robison has published widely on agricultural economics, risk management, and relational goods, and has consulted for governments and international organizations including the World Bank. He is also known for his work on social capital and its role in markets and financial decisions.
