General Questions
What is AtomicSkills?
AtomicSkills is an email-based microlearning platform that delivers bite-sized daily lessons directly to your inbox. Each course consists of 15 lessons designed to be completed in just 5 minutes per day, making it easy to build new skills without disrupting your schedule.
How does it work?
Simply choose a course, set your preferred delivery time, and you'll receive one lesson per day in your email inbox. Read the lesson, complete the quiz, and track your progress. After 15 days, you'll have completed the entire course!
Do I need to download an app?
No! That's the beauty of AtomicSkills. Everything happens in your email inbox – no apps to download, no additional platforms to learn. If you can check your email, you can use AtomicSkills.
Courses
What topics do you cover?
We offer courses across a wide range of professional subjects including programming, AI and automation, digital marketing, personal finance, data science, productivity, business, and career development. Our catalog is growing as new founding instructors join the platform.
How long does each course take?
Each course consists of 15 daily lessons, each designed to take about 5 minutes to read. One lesson per day for 15 days. The format is intentionally finite and structured around completion. You can pause at any time and resume when ready.
Can I enroll in multiple courses at once?
Free accounts can take one full course at a time — all 15 lessons included. Once you finish, you can start another. Pro subscribers can run unlimited courses simultaneously.
Do I get a certificate?
Certificates are a Pro feature. Complete all 15 lessons and quizzes in any course and you'll receive a certificate of completion you can share on LinkedIn or add to your resume. Free accounts complete the full course but do not receive a certificate.
Pricing & Payment
How much does it cost?
AtomicSkills offers a free tier and a Pro subscription at $9.99 per month. Free accounts include access to one active course and the first 6 lessons of any course. Pro unlocks unlimited courses, all 15 lessons per course, and access to private course deployments.
What does Pro include?
Pro subscribers get unlimited simultaneous course enrollments, access to all 15 lessons per course (vs. 6 on the free tier), and early access to new features. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard via the billing portal. Your Pro access remains active until the end of your current billing period.
Learning Experience
What if I miss a day?
Your lessons remain in your inbox so you can catch up whenever you're ready. You can also pause a course from your dashboard and resume it at any time — no lessons are lost.
When are lessons delivered?
During signup you choose a delivery time — morning (9 AM), noon (12 PM), or afternoon (6 PM) — in your own timezone. One lesson is sent at that time each day for 15 days.
Can I choose my AI coach?
Yes. During signup you choose one of three AI coaches — Maya (friendly & patient), Alex (energetic & fun), or Jordan (clear & structured). Each coach has a distinct personality and writes your lesson intro in their own style. Pro users can choose a different coach for each course.
What does my AI coach actually do?
Before each lesson, your coach writes a short personalized intro — 2 to 3 sentences that greet you by name, acknowledge your progress, and motivate you for that day's lesson. If you scored well on your last quiz, they'll celebrate it. If you struggled, they'll be encouraging and constructive. The lesson content itself is written by the course instructor and is never changed.
Will my coach remind me to finish the course?
Yes. If you complete all lessons but haven't taken the final quiz yet (needed to earn your certificate), your coach will send you a one-time reminder email 2 days later with an encouraging message to get you across the finish line.
Are the quizzes graded?
Quizzes are designed for reinforcement, not evaluation. You'll see which questions you got right or wrong immediately after submitting. The goal is to help ideas stick, not to assess you.
Can I access previous lessons?
All delivered lessons remain in your email inbox, so you can refer back to any lesson at any time. Since the platform is email-based, your inbox is your course archive.
Technical Questions
What email providers do you support?
We work with all major email providers including Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Apple Mail, and any other standard email service. Our lessons are designed to display correctly across all email clients.
I'm not receiving emails. What should I do?
First, check your spam/junk folder and add us to your contacts. If you still don't see emails, verify your email address in your account settings and check that your delivery time is set correctly. Contact our support team if issues persist.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We take data security seriously. We use industry-standard encryption, never sell your personal information, and comply with all relevant data protection regulations. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Teams & Organizations
Can AtomicSkills be used by teams?
Yes. AtomicSkills for Teams is currently in private beta. It allows organizations to deploy private courses to internal teams, clients, or closed cohorts — content that never appears in the public catalog. Each learner receives one lesson per day by email, exactly as on the individual plan.
What types of organizations can use it?
The format works for any organization that needs structured, repeatable learning delivery. Current use cases include companies running onboarding and upskilling programs, startups doing fast knowledge transfer, schools and universities offering supplemental or cohort learning, and professional associations delivering member education or CPD programs.
Can we deploy our own course content?
Yes. Organizations can build and deploy their own 15-lesson courses using our structured template. Courses remain private and are only accessible to the learners you invite. We provide editorial guidance to help structure your content clearly.
Do learners get certificates?
Yes. Team deployments include custom certificates of completion that can be branded for your organization. Certificates are shareable on LinkedIn and exportable for internal HR or compliance records.
What is the AI adaptive learning layer?
Each lesson can be enhanced with AI-powered follow-up prompts, optional challenges, and adaptive reinforcement exercises. This layer personalizes the experience for each learner and improves retention without changing your original course content.
